Project summary

At a fraction of the cost of supporting a child in an orphanage, Project HALO is able to support a grandmother (or aunt or uncle for example) who would otherwise be unable to care for their orphaned relatives. We also work with "teenager-headed households" and foster families.

All these solutions allow the children to stay in their own communities, with their own friends and extended family support networks. These children have lost their parents, why take them away from everyone else they know and love as well? Read more...
